Flat Rock
Easy, 30 minute leisurely hike with views
On the map below you will see Flat Rock (not a listed trail), which has a parking lot right on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just 5 minutes from the Lodge, its about a 30 minute round trip hike and is a great spot if you want a quick hike with beautiful views. As described, the top has flat rock areas where you can relax with a picnic or a beer (BYO).
